Then dodge and lunge and strike! Success is sweet.
Yet not a single second does she spare
to help her fallen foe back to his feet.
Thus Konrad, King, and Aibhilin the fair,
do find her list of honors incomplete.
On Liadan, whose virtue we all know,
we do, with love and thanks, this Glove bestow.
